As state above, can this be fixed ??

Hi this is when you need a mechanic and not just a fitter as all of today's guys all they do is fit new parts.

so in most cases you would need to replace the parts which the thread had been stripped in.

if you mean one of the screws that hold the brake caliper to the backplate is stripped, yes you can replace it, if you're asking can a stripped female thread in the backplate which the caliper bolts onto be repaired the answer is yes, this requires access to a thread recovery kit, of the right size.

What's -_- ? must be tough going through life only speaking gibberish you and a few of your nerdy friends understand,

They're usually 7mm hex'.

As state above, can this be fixed ??
