The carburetors float needle and seat has stuck, become worn, or has a small piece of dirt stuck in it preventing it from shutting off the fuel entering the float bowl, thus running out the float bowl overflow hose,
Rubber hoses fail over time. Could be that yours had a bit of help from local rodents. They seem to like to chew on plastic and rubber.
tap the carbator with the but od a big screw driver this will brake float lose make sure gas cap is venting and not building up presser
I parked it one eve, and 2 days later i went out to garage for something and it hadn't leaked out yet. But then next day i had to get at something in my garage and had to step, crawl over it it jarred and shook a little. finally, next morning went out and the entire garage smelled like fuel and i noticed all the fuel had evacuated from line at bottom of carb. What could have caused this? mind you, it hadnt ran this entire time, it was just sitting undisturbed, untill like i mentioned i had to climb over it. Any ideas?
