Not enough detail but if the compressions are good then I'd suspect an injector dribbling into one of the cylinders when the engine is off. Do you find it doesn't use any oil or the oil level even goes up between changes?

You might be getting oil leaking in to the cylinders as the car sits, so your value stems in the head might be worn out.
