If you buy an engine how do they deliever it to you?

An engine weighs 300-500lbs!!! How can they ship that? And does the poor delivery guy carries the engine to my house?

Doesn't work that way - the engine comes attached to a wooden/plastic pallet you will either have to pick it up at the truck depot - they will drop it into your truck or trailer for free - or have a loading dock so the pallet can be rolled out of the truck. I you need it delivered to your garage you may be able to negotiate a truck with a portable lift - but it will be costly.

It will be bolted or strapped to a pallet. It will not come on a standard UPS/FedEX delivery truck. It will be delivered on a larger truck with a lift gate on it and a pallet jack will be used to move the engine on it's pallet.

It comes to your house on a truck with a lift gate. The driver will use a pallet jack to get it off the gate.

The engine warranty is no good unless delivered to a ASE certified mechanic.

You may need a fork lift to get it off the truck--better call them.

Yep, one guy delivers it, he walks it all the way from the factory to wherever you are. If you are across an ocean, he swims.

It will come by truck on a skid. He will expect you to have the equipment to unload it.
