Synthetic oil is used with precisely the same filters as for mineral oil and semi-synth oil.
You do not need special filters to use with semi or full synthetic oils.
Just a marketing term. Almost oil filter works the same way.
Synthetic oil filter? Never heard of that. I use semi-sythetic oil, and change my filter every 2,500 miles and oil every 5,000.
I want to know if anyone else runs part/semi synthetic oil with full synthetic oil filters in their vehicles. Mine is a dodge 3500 cummins. I haven't had any problems yet but am wondering if there is anything specific I need to consider while maintaining my vehicle this way.
