Will the p225/60r16 tire fit a rim that originally came with p215/65r16 tires?

More than likely, yes. Assuming the 215/65 is the stock tire and it's mounted on the stock rim, you should be fine. The 225/60 only 7/16" (10mm) wider. A rim has a range of tire widths it will support, usually about a 2" difference.

Sure, it will fit, each tire has a mounting rim width range of 6 to 8 inches. The bigger question is if that is an applicable size for your specific year, make, and model of vehicle. What are you driving, Lee?

Yes. May not be same diameter. Go to website such as tirerack.com go to specifications, look for diameter and revelutions per mile to compare.

yes it will fit but its wider and a little taller than the old tyre
