What should I do, cleaned off bird dropping and and some scratch marks left on the clear coat?

In the future, bird droppings need to be soaked for a few moments with a wet cloth to dissolve them..They contain a strong caustic chemical that will etch the clearcoat. The existing scratches can be removed with a mildly abrasive polishing product that should be done professionally.

Wipe them off using plenty of water, a damp cloth is not wet enough.

What can you do about the mark? Ignore it, it won't affect the cars performance.

Scrub with comet, is like very mild polishing compound and cleans the whole car nicely, just drum a little harder on the bad spots then scrub again with car wash with wax in it and or wax the car, some micro fiber tags work best wet or dry.

Dried droppings need to be completely soaked in water ( a little car shampoo added will help DO NOT use washing up liquid) to make them easy to wipe off

They should not be left as they can stain the paint

Hello

I read online that if bird dropping is left for long it can damage car paint. I went out with a microfibre cloth soaked in water and wiped it as gently as possible but the bird dropping was already gone hard so after removing it with a little bit of force, I can seen some scuffs of a penny coin (bird drop size) on the clear coat. I dont know if I should do something to remove those marks or just leave it since I am no expert at cars.

Should I just leave the bird dropping until it falls off or should I wipe it off.
