What happens if you put premium 2-cycle oil in your car?

I have a 1993 Honda civic and I was changing my oil and I grabbed the wrong oil and I put 2-cycle oil in my car. Will it be ok? If not, what should I do?!

You did the whole oil change that way?

Change the oil again. You could probably get away with not changing the filter (if it's new).

2-cycle oil isn't designed to lubricate for thousands of miles. It doesn't have any detergent additives, and won't properly suspend the contaminants like a proper automotive oil would.

No, it's the wrong oil, drain it out and start again with the correct oil, and fit a new oil filter too. Usually two stroke oil containers have pictures of things like motorbikes, lawnmowers and chainsaws on them which should make it fairly obvious that it was the wrong oil if yours was labelled this way.

NO drain it and start again

Change it again, buckwheat. This is almost as strange as hooking up jumper cables backwards.
