Accidentally put oil in a gas push lawn mower?

Lawn mowers are pretty forgiving. Turn it upside down and empty as much of the oil as will run out, then fill with fresh gas. Fire it up and run it a few minutes. Let it cool. If all this works OK, consider it fixed. If it's now hard to start, buy it a new spark plug. All is well.

Just add gas and it will be fine. Might run a little bit rough or smoke a little while the rest of the oil burns, but it will be okay.

just add fresh gas

how bad was it smoking ?if put a lot of would have smoke and choked out . stiil and no smoke just add more gas

dump oil from gas tank, clean tank out with new gas, dump that gas out,put fresh gas in tank, pull plug, clean plug, but i would change plug out, fire it up,just like new...

So I put oil inside the gas tank on accident. When I started it, it sounded and acted normal so I finished up working for maybe another hour. After I was completely done I cleaned up and out the mower back and found out I put oil inside of it. Should I remove the remaining oil in the tank and just put regular gas. Or is the lawn mower completely broken now? It was working fine while I was mowing and I'm too scared to check if is fine now
