4-way ext lead keeps tripping out while my jacuzzi is on?

You're in the wrong section!

Seriously though a jacuzzi is water and electricity, which don't mix. Get it wired up via a RCD using fixed cables, and get it done by a qualified electrician. DIY electrics for this sort of thing are dangerous, and probably illegal under part P of the wiring regulations

No way should you have a jacuzzi on an extension cord at all. It needs a feed straight from a socket.

I have a Jacuzzi and it needs its own supply. You are drawing too much current through the extension i.e. more than 13A which is why the fuse is blowing. This is dangerous and could cause a fire.

Get a 16A blue plug fitted on its own circuit breaker with and RCD (earth leakage) trip fitted. The wiring should be minimum 2.5 mm sq.

Check the rating plate on the tub. If it's over 3kw you will need the above. Any more you will be looking at

6 mm sq. cable.

It does sound as though the extension cord is not able to handle the amp draw of the pump. Somewhere on the unit it will state the amp or watts needed to run the equipment, find the tag and then look on your extension cord for the wire size within it. Go online for the amp capacity of the gauge wire at the length you have and compare it to the tag.

A note: watts divided by volts gives you the amps. Amps times volts gives you the watts.

what make of car is a Jacuzzi ?

I have my jacuzzi plugged in to a 4 way extension reel. Nothing else is plugged into the reel and I have a 13amp fuse on the reel. Over the last 48 hours I have went through 2 fuses. The jacuzzi is just new. Any suggestions I.e do I need a heavier supply of extension reel
