Will acrylic paint stay on my car if i want to do a small detail on it?

I'm restoring two old trucks right now and I'm using acrylic enamel auto paint on them. It looks beautiful.

Without knowing the year, make and model of your car we have no clue what type of paint was used by the manufacturer. Take your paint code to the largest automotive paint shop you can find. They will mix the correct color for you.

Hey,

If you need to download Paint you can get it here for free http://bitly.com/1rt0SxB

On the exterior? Probably not. Acrylic is water-based and will be affected by humidity, and may even come off in a heavy rainstorm. You would want to use an enamel paint for outdoor use. Spray enamels like Krylon can be used and if you want to brush it on, simply spray some paint into the cap (or other container) until it pools up a bit and gives you a liquid puddle to dip your brush into.
