What does it mean to have your car serviced?

The car came with a service document that includes the service schedule. Various things, like fluid inspections, brake inspections, and oil changes, have to be done regularly but at different intervals. Be sure to tell the service writer to only do the services called for in the schedule (get the document out and go over it with him) unless the extras are free. Toyota dealers are notorious for doing things they don't need to do, which can triple the cost of the service. That is especially important at the 30,000 mile services, which have a lot of items anyway. Some people have been billed over $1000 for a 30,000 mile service.

The dealer will love you if they can worry you into servicing everything. Read your manual like FlagMichael says and be ready for some additional useless stuff like chassis bolt tightening. Tire rotation, oil change, injection service, brake check, serp belt check. Air filter and cabin air filter would be ok to do at this point. Cabin air filter keeps outside air crap out of the evaporator and your face form the AC blower. Plugs are iridium so not needed yet.

For the scratches a body shop. For the stains home upholstery cleaner if simple green doesn't work.

Car service typically consists of oil change, fluid check, checking air pressure in tires, possibly wheel rotation. Most vehicles require oil change every 3000-5000 miles depending on what type of oil is used. I'd track these things myself. Sometimes the dealer is out to make money and will service things that are not required at the time.

When you take a car for servicing, the most important component involved in the car service is changing the engine oil. Besides changing the engine oil the air filter is either cleaned or replaced depending on the car and its requirement. The headlights, signal lights, taillights are checked. The brake fluid is checked, and in case of power steering the power steering fluid is checked. That is if the car has a fluid assisted power steering system. The car may require tuning and resetting of the sparkplugs in case of a petrol engine. The emissions are checked and the car, both diesel and petrol are tuned to minimise emissions. Service centers look at the car's service history and may change parts that are required to be changed after a certain mileage. As far as the paint chips you might have to take it to a dent doctor, I'm pretty sure they can fix that and for the stains on the seats, try scrubbing with soap and water or stain remover but don't use too much product. I hope this helps:)

It means the car is going to be pleasured.

Ok so I recently bought a 2012 Toyota Camry. Love this car! So today i'm going to get it serviced because they called me to do so. What is it?

Oh and in the front, like at the bottom of the bumper it has small paint chips because when I first got the car, I didn't realize how low the bumper really went and like twice when I was parking hit the front pavement. How can I fix that? Its really small not a big deal.

And how do you remove seat stains? They aren't heavy and dark, very light but my ocd is getting to me lol thanks in advance :)
