Is my car most likely totaled?

A Hyundai??? LOL. It's definitely a total loss! Of course, you COMPLETELY FAIL to state even the year or model of this clunker, much less its condition before the wreck - and you give us the most cursory, amateurish, and feeble description of the damage.

You need to have a professional insurance adjuster and/or body shop look at the car even for a guess-timate. Again, from the completely inadequate and weak description, it could cost literally almost any amount, but it will absolutely be MUCH more than you seem to think -- which will almost certainly be more than the low-end, Korean-made piece of junk is worth.

You know the old joke? What do you call a Hyundai with a flat tire? Totaled!!

Tsk that's a shame. It's partly your fault since you own a Hyundai yet you don't have it insured for such situation. Were you so confident that you'll never get into a car accident? Anyway I suggest asking a car repair center who specializes in collision repairs. They usually give a fair price since they know exactly which parts need attention.

The windshield alone will pass $1000 to be repaired. The hood can be bought for $200, but the damage inside will probably be a lot more. I would hope that nothing inside was damaged, but if it is, you are better off getting a new car. The engine is a big part of the car, and that is looking at over $5,000. But if nothing internal is damaged, I would look at $2500.

Engine is nothing. If the front frame of the car is bent, then the car is a write off. Or $950000000000 dollars. Yeah, it is a Hyundai so you walk away. Probably can buy another one used for $25.

If insurance won't cover it, the "someone other than me" owes you the cost of repairs or the fair market value of the vehicle, which ever is the lesser amount.

The only one who can tell you costs of repair will be a body shop.

Did you try to do a search on Google?

So my car was crashed by someone other than me and my insurance isn't going to cover it. I only briefly saw the damage. It was a front on collision. My hood was all bent up and my windshield was cracked. Is it most likely totaled. I have about $5000 I can spend. Will the repairs be more than that? Should I just buy a new car? I know it's impossible to really say without looking at the car but I just want an estimate. It's a hyundai.
