Bachelors of Engineering is more related to the concepts in Engineering Though you have practical sessios.. But B.Tech is more related to the application of engineering like more concept applications in practical session. All IIT offers B.Tech courses only. IIT-ians get more knowledge by hands-on and practical. But most of the ordinary colleges provide B.E. So B.tech course is good compared to B.E

Engineering is more along the lines of "How do I design a ....?". Technology is more along the lines of "How does a .... work?"

Engineering will lean more towards science: physics, heat transfer, etc.

Technology will be more hands on: PLCs, robots, engines, etc.

Its same. Different names in different places.
