Maybe you should keep some of those Armor All wipes in the glove box and when she takes her feet down insist that she clean the dash. If she does it as a trade-off without a word of complaint, then look at it as a relationship with a partner who is willing to compromise. If she whines, tell her that those are the rules - keep your feet off the dash, or clean up after yourself.

In one case, while stopped at a traffic light, a vehicle came out of the parking lot next to the intersection and crashed into the stopped vehicle deploying the passenger side air face. The teen girl that had her legs on the dashboard is now paralyzed for life. This is your car. Tell them not to place their legs as indicated and if she refuses, stop the car until she does. You are probably the first asker I have seen who asked this sort of question and was not obviously a foot fetishist - and I very much doubt you are. But I think that is part of why they do that. Foot fetishes are really quite common, making display of bare feet (yuck!) akin to wearing short shorts. Personally, I don't get it, but neurologist V. S. Ramachandran explains in his fascinating book Phantoms in the Brain that on our cerebral cortex the sensations for our feet are right beside those for our sexual organs. But that does not help explain why women don't care about men's feet or why women wear all sorts of odd shoe fashions when men hardly ever notice shoes - or bare feet - at all.
Personally, I would be turned off if some woman put her feet, bare or with shoes, on the dashboard.
There are lots of opinions as to their motivation. It seems more with younger women or girls and a rather immature habit . Perhaps they think it looks cool and not unlike girlish behavior in some of the older Hollywood teen movies..
Like the other guys on here, it isn't allowed in my cars. Too some of my autos are vintage autos that have painted dashes...NOT designed as a foot rest.

lol, I hate when people do this! All my friends do it and I'm like really?! I just think it's more of a safety hazard. Maybe try sticking something on the dashboard or taping like a note, so she'll see it and not do it. I don't think there is a nice way to ask her not to do it.

You could ask them not to do it, my grandpa doesn't let me do that in his car so I don't when I'm in his car.
I also recognize that this is extremely dangerous in the event of an accident. I live in a place with not a lot of car traffic and only do it if there's like no one else on the road and we are not traveling at high speeds.
So the guy in the truck next to you can look up their dress. Tell her to keep her feet off the dash and if you have to do it twice be blunt. Tell her how sexy it is that you can look up her dress and stop at a motel to show her how you feel. She needs "touching up". If she starts saying "no". that means she wants to be completely on her own starting exactly from that point. Let her out since you aren't a rapist. I don't know, this drives me nuts when I see it too. But see all other sorts of crazy stuff that at least equals this. Driver with left foot (in USA, left hand drive car) out of the drivers window for example, I've even seen truckers doing this. Nuts. We need stupidity police I guess.

I have no idea, but, if there is a airbag on the passenger side that deploys from an accident, she will sustain very serious injuries, so the best thing for her to do is keep her feet on the floor where they belong.
Seriously! I'm tired of cleaning toe prints from my dashboard and windshield from my current girlfriend and other girls I've dated in the past! Why do girls have this bizarre impulse to put their feet up on car dashboards?

i don't know but it drives me crazy too and it's extremely unsafe should the airbag go off (it would probably do more damage than if the airbag didnt activate in a crash)

She wants to go though the wind shield first, in a accident the seat belt likely will not hold her. basically slip past the straps. mention this and ask is your life worth it.
A little dash cleaning seems to be a good trade off for other stuff.
