Car seized after adding oil?

You must either get rid of it or of your brother. He must have used the oil for something else.

It sounds like your engine is kaput. Oil is required for almost all engines to not self destruct. Obviously your engine was one that requires oil.

If you drove it without oil. most likely u blown a head gasket or locked the motor.. Probably a goner!

if it seized it's a goner or boat anchor , if you rather

Charge the battery, try again. If not, toast.

yes

try to jump it and see if it starts.

So, my car was running fine, then when my brother was driving it, it died. When he finally got it to restart, it was making an odd noise. I didn't know what it was, but it still started and drove. The next day after I had been driving it around, it died a couple more times and stopped good. I had it towed to a shop, and the checked a couple of things, and noticed it was out of oil. I guess it must have burned, even though there was no smoke, because there definitely was no leak. He said it is possible the engine has seized, but he didn't do much else with it.

I had it towed home, where I put some oil in it. At first, I could hear a click, but nothing happened. Then, it started sounding like it wanted to start, but it just couldn't quite make it. After a while of trying to start it, it stopped making the noise and now makes no noise at oil. I'm not sure how it could do that because I tried it after adding oil.

The point is, is the engine a goner or not?
