How much should transmission flush cost for a forenza?

my forenza seems like it is hard to switch gears, rpm is jumping to 3 and reveing at 2 at stops

You'll pay more than then the cost of the flush! never flush a transmission. Have the pan dropped and change the filter (if it's serviceable) and then refill with the correct ATF. When they flush a tranny all the dirt from the filter gets flushed into the valve body and that will cause the failure! sounds more like a motor problem. You should have a mechanic hook up a factory scan tool and read all the engine data to see if all the sensors are in spec. I mean a real mechanic...not Walmart, Firestone, or chain joints with high school drop out tire changers and lube boys!

More than having the transmission fluid and filter CHANGED by the dealer if the car. Flushing transmissions lead to big problems when the old dirty fluid gets flushed through the *valve body which is the brains of shifting properly.

not your transmission its self that is bad. Sounds like It is the shift sensor and idling sensor is going bad or has already done so.

Hook it up to diagnostic tool. You can buy one for yourself or have your local parts store do it for you. It is usually free of charge.

Should probably look into doing this before flushing it. Although flushing it won't hurt any thing at all, just save you some money if it didn't need to be done.

Lucy, learn how to speak proper English. There are already enough idiots here. Another one is not needed.
