Dealers drained my gas and I meed help.?

Gas, oil, oil, air, system. Confusing!

Guessing - he had the oil changed but then it wouldn't start because the fuel tank was empty, and air is in the fuel system?

He drove it there, so there must have been some fuel, but you can't prove there was enough fuel in the tank to prevent air getting into the fuel line, so he's going to have to get it fixed, by them or someone else - which may add towing costs. If it's a gasoline engine, bleeding the line to the injectors is sometimes a 2 minute job (it was on my car, anyway) - diesels could be something else..

He shouldn't use that workshop again......

Sadly unless we have a way of proving it was delivered with fuel and oil! No.

If it were I in that position, be very tempted to get a tow truck to pick it up from them and take it to another garage to get sorted.

Taking lots of time doing so as it reflects badly on a garage when it has vehicles being towed away and not to it.

Word soon gets round. In future take a pic of fuel gauge when dropping it off with date and time plus couple after at same place showing truck parked position and if possible a clock on there site etc. thus factorial evidence it had fuel in when left at that time. I always do this with tented vehicles. Be surprised how many companies try and say returned not enough fuel etc.

Wait a minute. Out of OIL, out of GAS, or out of DIESEL FUEL? The "air in the system" line leads me to believe you're out of diesel fuel. Reply back w/ engine and truck make, and we'll try to help you out.

You pretty much got screwed over. Not too much you could do unless you have receipt or something.

try to talk to gas station they may have the security video of your father pumping the gas with the date, time and the amount of gas; bring the recipt and or driver gas log ? good luck!!!

Ok not really MY gas but my dad's. He is a truck driver and yesterday he decided to change his oil. So he drove in and left his truck. When he came back they said it wasn't starting. Turns out he had absolutly no oil and there was air in the system. The thing is that he is sure that tlhe had a quarter of the tank full. Now he dosn't know what to do since they insist that they didn't do anything and they want to charge A LOT for each hour. So is there a way to prove them wrong or at least do something.
