Should have applied anti-squeal compound on the back sides of the brake pads before putting them in. They never squeal when you do that. They almost always squeak if you don't. I bet you probably don't want to take these pads out again just for the application, but that's the best way to do it. There's another version which you spray onto the back side of the pad while it is in the caliper and hope it goes where it can be effective. This works half the time. I have even had better results with putting wheel bearing grease in a very thin film on the back of the brake pad instead of anti squeal compound. Do it right and use the right product for dependable results.
Depends on the type of pads installed. Metallic pads sometime squeak for a few mile to wear in.. Organics can sometimes so the same. Always try to go with the type of pad that origanally comes with the car. there are semi metallic, metallic, organic, and ceramic pads. If the pads are not correctly installed ;pads seated dorrectly in calipers, vibrations can cause a squeak.. Give is a few more miles . If the squeak continues take it back
Anything Bosch is crap but you should have machined or replaced the rotors when the pads were put in. If you decide to do the rotors, get new pads at the same time, they should be done together.
"If Bosch brakes are so crap, then explain to me how they're one of the most trusted brands of break pad manufactures in the world since 1936."
Bosch products used to be good years ago when it was a German company. Nowadays, all the replacement parts that they sell come straight out of China and it's CRAP, READ THE EFING BOX!!
Besides that, WTF are you on? Explain to me where you ever got this moronic notion that Bosch brake pads are the most trusted? They have only be producing them out ****-land (China) the last couple years, prior to that, they didn't even make pads. If you want a decent pad, pick up some Raybestos EHT.
the brakes have some in the slack caliper so the pads will fit right in without beating them . so when you stop or slow the pads squeak when they move against the caliper. If you don't use stop squeak on the pads they will always squeak. when you buy pads the sales person should offer you some stop squeak, if so buy it and you want be bothered with the squeak.
the non asbestos pads are known for noise. it is a fact of life.
it's normal
