What are the basic things we change or do when servicing our car for eg. fule filter, engline oil,air filter /?????

Hello

It depends on the type of service

Most cars will have a Service book with Service A and B

Service A for example every 10,000 Miles Check engine oil and top up if required

Service B for example every 20,000 Miles will include all of Service A and B which might be to Drain the engine oil, Remove Engine Oil Filter and replace with new one, Re-Fit Drain Plug and Re-Fill to correct level with New Engine Oil. A decent mechanic would also check the Particle filter in the sump whilst in has no oil in the engine. Others would not as not on the list

Get a Handbook for your car and a service manual that will tell you what and when

Change timing belt. I see too many people who keep their oil changed but neglect everything else then sooner or later their timing belt skips some teeth or even break and their engine is ruined. The first thing they say when they get the bad news is "How could this happen? I've always got the oil changed." Dafuq's that gotta do with it? Oh, by the way you're coolant is mud. All your engine mounts are broke. You need new lower control arms, inner and outer tie rods, your brakes are down to the squealers, your tranny fluid and filter has probably never been changed by the looks of it.

Change oil and filter and changing air filter for starters. Checking oil and other fluids should be done once a week. Once a month, check tire pressure and rotate them every 5,000-7,500 miles. If you're due for a bigger service (every 30,000 miles), change trnasmission fluid and coolant. Inspect brakes and tires as well. Depending the car and driving style, tires might wear out sooner (ie. high performance tires). You also need to do tuneups and change fuel filter depending on what's recommended on your car. Newer cars generally go 100K miles between tuneups while some older models go 30 or 60K miles between tuneups. What model vehicle do you drive? Knowing that will speak volumes on the recommended maintenance you need to be doing. By the way, do a transmission service... not a flush. Everyone likes to say how the flush gets rid of ALL of the old fluid, but flushes can actually cause more harm than good on a transmission (especially over 75K miles).

You need to follow the manufacture's recommended maintenance schedule. It is usually found in a little booklet in the glove box. If you have lost yours you can probably find a copy on the internet.

Engine oil and filter change is the most basic thing that needs to be done most often. Other things like fuel filter and air filter may only need changing every 40,000 miles or so. It just depends on your car. Tires are usually rotated about every 8,000 miles. Transmission flush and fluid change only about every 50,000 miles. Just find your maintenance schedule and follow it.

Change oil, clean air filter, flush transmission, rotate tires,
