Dead battery..

Also, your car is under warranty (if under 36k miles). Assuming you don't have any aftermarket equipment installed, either the battery will be replaced or a parasitic draw will be diagnosed by the dealer (paid by honda) If jumping the car doesn't work, call honda roadside assistance and tell them you have a 2014 civic and need it towed to the dealer because it wont start.

Also happens with me most of the time. My Hyundai Elantra also does the same. I also don't know what is the problem with it. Several times I have referred to mechanic but after 3-4 days it again start annoying me.

a '14, under Honda factory warranty, so at least call H dealers service dept. have cars VIN, Vehicle ID Number handy: on registration.

and instead of 3A, add road service on insurance, much more economical.

you could check battery cables & see if they'r loose, disconned, etc. buzzing is usually solenoid not getting enough electricity.

dont mess up warranty, have Honda take care of this.

Advance auto will check starter battery and alternator For free

If the vehicle is still under warranty you need to get it to a dealership to get it repaired. If you do anything to it yourself you could void the warranty.

if you have the stop/start option it may have stripped the teeth of the starter motor or flywheel very common now

Hi, I have a 2014 Honda Civic and never had any problems. I went to start my car today and when i turn the key to the "start" position, the dashboard will blink along with a buzzing noise. If I press the brake, it does the same thing. I would see what happens when the key it turned to the other positions. My car's lights work and my phone charges. The dashboard tells me to check my airbags and breaks, which has never happened before. I have no idea what it could be. Maybe the battery is low but I'm not sure how to check. Should I just call triple A? thank you.
