Anything that flows is basically a fluid.
Hence gases would be the answer for your question.
A good example of solid fluid is bed material in FBC boilers. It is basically silica & alumina mixture which is crushed refractories. It is fluidized using air nozzles in the bottom of furnace & helps for coal combustion. It is basically solid layer of sand but once air is supplied, it gets fluidized & acts exactly as fluids. It acquires properties of fluid (only when fluidized) & can be drained through an opening at bottom or side of the furnace.
Fluids are liquid and gas . gas a example of fluids . Also we can refer fluid dynamics book
Fluids take the shape of the container. Gasses are fluids.
Gasses are Argon, Hydrogen Nitrogen, Xenon, Oxygen, etc
Every gas is a fluid. So some examples would be co2 o2 and so on.
every gases
Hi,
I know that "All liquids are fluids but not all fluids are liquids."
So I guess water is a liquid and obviously a fluid as well.
can you give me some examples for fluids that are NOT liquids?
Thanks
