What should i do next to my tiburon?

Well, you don't have much money. Your best bet? A for sale sign.

Strike 1: You bought an automatic.

Strike 2: Tiburons do NOT respond well to modifications. Intake, headers, high flow cat, exhaust, underdrive pulleys, bigger throttle body, lower temp thermostat...all combined will cost you $2-3000 and you'll gain...5hp.

Strike 3: Even a supercharger for the Tiburon only adds aobut 35hp, which is pathetic.

Honestly, either enjoy driving it as is, or find a different car, because the Tiburon isn't meant to be modified, especially the automatic. That's why Hyundai brought out the Genesis Coupe.

Ditch the aftermarket intake and put $1000 in the bank.

Save up about $4,000-$10,000 more and go to a speed shop.

Need to establish a bigger budget and plan the build. Supercharging a stock engine will just result in a dead engine. Do it right.

You must be the number 54,304 teen that asks this very same question after a recent purchase. By the way, please capitalize the brands and model names of cars. Tiburon is correct. Please capitalize the first word of each sentence as well. Look, I have had kids with cars of 250 horsepower cars that want more. Same for even 300 horsepower cars. It is human nature. Fast, however, is relative. Just like in the California gold rush suppliers of jeans, tools, etc, made more money than miners. auto parts are making a ton of money by the hour on cold air systems, chips, exhausts, etc. compared to the improved horsepower for an average car. 138 HP SAE @ 6,000 rpm; 136 ft lb torque. These are the numbers for this engine when new. Never a performance car but an economy car with a sports design. If you wished for a higher performance car, then, you should have purchased one. What will 50 more horses do for you? Practically nothing but drain your wallet. Save your money. Just clean up the car and profit from the fuel economy. First cars are just that. As to safety, teens crash over one million times per year for obvious reasons: lack of training and experience. Use that money for advanced driving courses. I have taken these and I can assure you that they are needed. Most people have no clue as to the limits of cars. Tires alone require a lot of information. Google "teen driving courses" for such lessons in your area. AAA also offers excellent courses. Cars are expensive. You need to avoid making them more expensive. This driver had over 400 horses under the hood. He died. Do not let this happen to you. Bye.

Get it cleaned Change its electric plugs and also its exhaust. you will see an improved power in your engine.

Headers, pulleys, ecu tune. Maybe even upgraded injectors and plugs. There should be forums with Tiburon owners that could help you more.

I recently purchased a 05 auto tiburon with about 58k. and to be honest its just not fast enough. it already has a cold air intake and exchaust. what should I.do next headers supercharger I.got about a grand I wanna put in it and I don't know where to start. but I mainly wanna work on the power that it has I definitely wanna make it go faster.. watcha think?
