My new car is squeaking when I drive over bumps. But why?

You have a warranty on your car. What are you doing trying to play mechanic? It's probably the stabilizer bar bushings. Go to the dealer. They may already have a mechanic TSB report about it and can fix it for free.

If it was an older car id say worn shock worn control arm joint worn tie rod end etc. But since it's new it shouldn't be making any squeaks. Thing is you said nyc. I drive through there 2x a year from florida. I have a new corvette and it squeaks and rattles in nyc only from the nasty streets up there. It's under warranty take it to the dealer and have them check it.

Get a can of spray lube, like WD-40 or LPS#1, and HOSE down every rubber bushing you can find in the suspension. Pop the hood & hit everyone from above. Crank the front wheels all the way to the right & spray everyone you can see, then repeat with wheels all the way to the left.

DO NOT spray suspension bushings with WD-40 which is an oil based lubricant. Use pure silicone spray which does not degrade rubber bushings. The only rubber bushings are the front sway-bar link ends.

Probably a squeaky bushing. Not even broken in yet ;)

Can you push on that corner and reproduce the noise?

Im going to stay here because my car does that too

Check your tires, any problem with them. How old is your car. Might be rust.

Id suggest checking tires
