It sounds fuel related but check for small vacuum leak on inlet and pipes first.

Check idle speed is ok..is fuel filter ok? May be an air vapourisation issue . Have a scan run and check with owners club and dealer for this issue as may well be common and a fix know .

Need to check your carburettor as this sounds like something is keeping the revs too low - hence the stall when the engine slows down.

Another possible cause isa loose battery connection; it may feel tight but double check by tightening up the securing screws as I have had occasions when a loose battery cap created a short circuit which stopped the car. a couple of turns of the securing screw solved the problem.

You have to love the car like it was your wife then kiss and hug it

Ask Gm, if they say its working as Designed, your all set! J.k. I think. Check fuel filter, but your symptom description could be clearer. I was thinking IAC. But not...

You will need to Identify what engine option you have in your Grand, the 4.0L (6 cylinder) or the 4.7L SOHC (V-8)?
