How much would it be to repair this?

Most places are different prices, but an after market hood I see on eBay roughly about $200., paint & mete rials $175., and labor about $175.. About $550.

Hopefully the radiator support not hurt bad.

I don't know, sometimes used hood cheaper sometimes not but would be cheaper if it is about the right color or if you don't care about the color match.

Yes it is alright to drive like that.

When you go to a collision center they should be kind enough to get your hood to open and closed along with a free estamate.

The price would depend on which car repair center you would have your car fixed. We had a car dent fixed at $100-200. i don't know how much yours will cost though. Try clicking the link below where you can ask for an estimate.

Go to wrecking yard for hood, call around, may be able to find same/similar color. May also have to get upper radiator support, where hood latch hardware is. Couple hundred bucks if you replace it yourself. Good luck, and don't tailgate.

It is perfectly legal to drive in most countries. A few like Germany may be more critical. But a hood from a salvage yard is only going to be $200 or so, and you can likely find it in the same color, through a nation wide computer search from any one salvage yard.

You will have to pry it open as someone also releases the lever, but it does not matter, because you are likely going to throw the hood away anyhow.

(However, the hood actually can be easily repaired by an expert, who knows how to use different temperature water, and some gentle persuasion.)

A reasonable body shop should be able to get you looking good for less than $1000.

But is you find the right mechanic, and they can locate the right color part, it should be under $500, with a few scratches showing.

But I would be tempted to unbolt the hood, walk on it upside down until is looks close, and then put it back on again. Cost you nothing to try.

Just make sure it latches well.

A new hood is only $164, but then it has to be painted.

Quotes for body work can vary widely. If the hood is the only real damage then you're very lucky. You're looking at the price of a new hood plus paint. Hoods cost $100-$200 based on my quick Google search. Also if the hood is held up automatically with struts then you may have to replace those as well if they are damaged.

it is safe to drive unless it damaged the radiator.

Had a front end accident today and I was wondering how much this would cost me. It seems that the hood is the only thing damaged. (don't care about the scratch on my bumper), but I'm really worried about the cost. I am a student and I thousands of dollars just sitting around. I tried opening the hood, but I couldn't get it open (I didn't really try very hard because I didn't to break anything). I'm going to be bringing it in to a collision center tomorrow morning and just wanted to gauge about how much I'll have to spend. Also is this legal or safe to drive around like this? It doesn't block my vision.
