Car Giving a lot of smoke in the start?

That's smoke alright; it doesn't dissipate the way water vapor does. Startup smoke is almost always the result of bad valve stem seals. As the car sits the oil gradually makes its way through the leaky seals and collects in the cylinder, where it burns off when you start it.

There are a couple of things that don't fit with your description, though. First, you mention sitting a long time, like 8 hours. Valve stem seals normally do all they are going to do after an hour. It also burns off much faster than you describe - a minute or two. So I would shift the focus onto something that is allowing a lot of oil into the intake - PCV or breather. There is another possibility. I can't make out the model, but if your car has a turbo it can be oil getting into the exhaust from a bad turbo seal or excessive crankcase pressure. I had a Volvo that smoked like crazy at idle because of a congested breather. Anyway, I think what is stopping the smoke is the catalytic converter eventually getting hot enough to burn the smoke off.

A look at the spark plugs should tell whether it is smoking from oil in the intake or exhaust. Also, exhaust oil normally does not burn until a few seconds warmup while intake oil smoke comes on strong from the beginning.

EDIT - duh! I can be a bit slow in the morning. The long sitting time (8 hours) probably means the oil is collecting somewhere, in the intake or the exhaust. Removing the intake duct from the throttle body and looking for oil is a quick and telling place to start. As I already mentioned, oil collecting in the exhaust has to heat up before it smokes so if it is smoking almost right away it is probably oil in the intake. (If you want to try something cheap and easy and probably a good idea anyway, you can replace the PCV valve.)

Double check the "smoke" condition by driving the car 60 MPH at normal operating temperature with someone following you. Slide your foot completely off the gas petal. If the person behind you sees smoke, you have worn valve guides. If there is no smoke you're seeing water vapor after start up on the AM.

It just looks like normal water vapour. That's normal from a cold engine when it is cooler outside.

Hey bro start it on a hot dry day and see if it does the same thing bc honestly it lookslijke just water vapor to me.

Just need a quick help ! any suggestions what's wrong!

When i start my car after long time, lets say in the morning, when its cold or after a lapse of 8 hours when i have to leave my office, it gives a lot of smoke. this thing happens, for 20 to 25 min, OR when i drive for 3 to 4 miles. AFTERWARDS its totally normal, no smoke or anything.

Could you please suggest me what's wrong ?

When i took it to mechanic, the smoke was already gone.

For reference i am pasting youtube links for my car while i started it this morning.
