It is the kind of engineering that you are interested in most, and can have flair and talent in it.
All engineering sectors are a good move, there's always a need for engineers.
Currently, with the reduction in available natural resource (Gold, Oil, etc) the best would be Mining, Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering.
Currently, petroleum engineers are paid the most to start off. It all depends on where you live and job availability of course.
If you really wanted to make money in an easy way,
you wouldnt pursue engineering
