What is the distinction between science technology and engineering.?

Engineering is a kind of Science. It is based upon a rigorous knowledge of Science and Mathematics, but takes things a bit further. Engineering is the art of construction. Often, Science really does not preciesely know hw somethign works, Engieers use what is known and still have to make things work anyhow. Engineers strice to understand What and How, Scientists usually are satisfied to know why.

Science is the formal method used to discover various aspects of how the world works.

Technology is a collective name for the tools and physical processes made and used by humans (or any other tool-using species). It ranges from stone axes to spacecraft.

Engineering is the art of creating technology. It draws greatly upon the results of science, but aesthetics, trial-and-error and an instinctive understanding of materials also play a part.

Science is for the academically inclined who want to indilge their curiosity while living off the tax payer on government funding.

Engineering is for those of a more practical , problem solving bent, who want to mzke a difference in the real world.

Technology is for the fashionable but dim.

science is concept.

technology gives the direction to flow.

engineering convert in to reality.

Engineering IS science, and there are many different types of engineer (electrical, mechanical, civil, etc).
