Quick help with major ENGINEERING?

You can't major in mechanical engineering at a community college because they don't offer it. You should talk to an adviser to see what the best major would be for someone intended to transfer to a university for an engineering program. Don's just pick something that sounds "close" or you could end up taking classes you don't need.

You would absolutely be able to do that.

Personally I would get a degree plan from the four year institution you want to go then look at the degree plan and ask them which classes at the community college would count towards that plan. You probably wont even need to declare a major at the community college although you can if you want.

Just make sure the classes you take will transfer the credits you need. Once you are sure of that you could declare a theology major for all they care.

Yes. .

Yes! .

so i decided to go to a CC. lets say i was thinking for example to be a mechanical engineer but that major isnt offered, would it be okay to put "engineering technology", or "mathematics"?

would i be able to change my major to mechanical engineer after transferring? like, would i be able to take all the math classes that a mechanical engineer would see for the first two years?

....

simple yes or no would be okay
