Is it OK to drive without a front right sway bar endlink?

It's possible, but not reccomended. My grandma used to have a 1992 Pontiac Bonneville. I was replacing the brake pads when I noticed the sway bar end link was broken. After I did the brake job, I took it out for a test drive. The nose of that car wallowed all over the road. I tried a couple of quick lane change maneuvers like you'd have to do doging obstacles on the highway, and the car was a handful to control. I bought new sway bar end link kits, reconnected it, and the vehicle was much more stable and a lot easier to control.

Stay in town, mind your speed and following distances, and you can probably get away with it. Keep in mind your car will not handle all that well, though. Get it fixed ASAP.

Could be expensive so I wouldn't

Turning will be a problem. The car body will roll more in corners.

I wouldn't recommend it.

Not a big deal in town on smooth roads. If I understand correctly that sway bar is removed entirely, otherwise the hammering of an unfastened sway bar would be destructive.

The handling at highway speeds will be unpredictable now so keep the speeds down.

One of my previous cars had a front sway bar link break and I drove the car for a couple of days like that. It was noisy as the sway bar kept hitting the subframe but it didn't do any damage. I just made sure I took turns slowly though.

But that was on a Toyota Celica. I have no idea how the front sway bar suspension system is designed on an A3 and if that could cause any damage or not.

I installed a pair of eibach sportline on the front yesterday on my Audi A3 2004 (or mk5, 54 plate). In my country, there are wintertimes = salty roards aka rusty bolts.., so loosening the nuts on the sway bar bolt was hard. Whenever loosening the nut, the bolt will spin WITH the nut. I knocked in a torx in the end of the bolt, but it keeped slipping.

So in the end, i had to cut the bolt, then remove the swaybar, and i have ordered a new one. In the meantime, can i drive around town, without the right sway bar? (I managed to remove the nut on the left side, so that side is ok)
