Car turned off and won't start again?

Frozen fuel lines are unlikely because gas remains liquid well below 0 degrees, so if the temp is in the positive single digits then its not cold enough to freeze gasoline.

It could be a failed fuel pump, or any number of other possible causes. Toyota Camrys are great cars and its no surprise that your 1992 model was still running well until yesterday, but they're not invincible, we are talking about a car that is 22 years old.

One option would be to ask friends & family to see if anyone has a large truck or full size van, rent a car dolly and tow the car to a mechanic yourself, it will be much cheaper than paying a tow truck.

Another option is to look at local ads to try to find a mobile mechanic who can diagnose it where it sits. Then if it appears to be a relatively simple fix you know its worth towing to a mechanic's shop.

Hello

The first thing I would do is try and lump start it. If that works get the battery and charging system checked. Also try driving for more than 8 minutes. If you are down to single digits I bet you had the Heated rear window on, Radio on, Heater and Heater fan on and maybe Lights on. They all take power to run (Heated rear window being the worse). If it takes normally takes 5 minutes to Re-Charge the battery after you start it with all the extra things on it might take 15 minutes and your car will be harder to start anyway in the low temperature.

Cold weather is the first thing that shows a low battery

get some sea foam (you can find it at walmart. For about 11 bucks) you put it in your gas tank with a full tank ( i would probably go with the highest octane) this will clean out your fuel injectors, that could be the reason. it doesn't seem like a battery issue.

Could be those things plus many many other possibilities

Hey guys thanks for the help in advance. I have a 92 Toyota camry that usually runs great. I left work yesterday and my car started fine. It has been in the single digits here all week brr. My car had only been on for about 8 minutes and I was in park at the bank drive thru when the rpms got real low and then It turned off. I couldn't get it to start again. It's has half a tank of gas and the battery is fine.

I wanted to try what I could before I spent money to get it towed. Could the fuel lines be frozen? Or maybe the fuel pump went bad? What do you guys think?
