Can a magnet motor be used as a generator ?

The so called "magnetic motor" is a hoax. It does not work and cannot work, it violates the very basic laws of physics.

Think about it. If it were that easy to get power with no input, would we be importing all that oil and polluting our planet?

A motor that produces power without consuming energy is a perpetual motion machine, which is NOT ALLOWED!

You can no more extract energy from a permanently magnetized magnet than from a permanently deformed spring. Even if there were a way to do this, the energy stored in a permanent magnet is tiny. The only way to demagnetize a permanent magnet is with a demagnetizer, which is a very powerful electrical device.

permanent magnets retain their magnetic properties for a long time, say 10 years such as you find with loud speakers attached to old vacuum tube radios. You should not hammer them or drop them or demagnetize them. a dc generator can be made out of a motor. you rotate the shaft and a d gets generated. But the dc motor is optimized for operation as a motor. However the principle is same and a generator can be made out of a dc motor. Have you seen the generator that lights up the lamp in many bicycles, at least the older ones.

Permanent magnets will not deteriorate over time if they are used properly and not abused.

I have seen plans and directions on how to build a motor that is powered only by a series of permanent magnets. Could these be used to generate electricity for homes? Do permanent magnets get weaker over time ?
